By choosing plants that suit a particular area of the
garden; taking into account, soil type, light and shade, micro-climates,
colour, seasons, your likes and dislikes along with their height and
spread, you are effectively using nature as an ally. In this way you are
selecting plants that will achieve their full potential and provide you
with year round colour and interest. This will also enable you to appeal
to all of the senses whilst keeping maintenance to a sensible minimum. |
|
Two copies of the planting plan are provided, showing
positions of each plant, or group of plants. One copy is produced in
black and white to be used as a 'Working' document, while the
other is designated a 'Reference document' and therefore colour coded to
highlight the different plant groups. |
